The FIAT 600 Hybrid is available from €19,900. It retains the ease of use of a petrol car while adding electrification to lower fuel consumption and make urban driving smoother.

The FIAT 600e, meanwhile, starts at €28,800 or €359 per month. It has 156 hp, a 54 kWh battery and a combined WLTP range of between 398 and 409 km. Ultimately, the 600 does not require every driver to enter mobility through the same door. That makes sense: not every family is at the same stage.

It is the right version for those with charging at home, at work or through a dependable public network. Under those conditions, the 600e may be the most enjoyable to drive each day: quiet, smooth, quick to respond and potentially cheaper in energy costs.

At the time of writing, FIAT is advertising a private-customer offer from €28,800 or €359 per month for the 600e, also with Easy Plan finance.

Its entry price is higher than that of the petrol or Hybrid models, but it should be assessed differently: cost per kilometre, taxation, maintenance, usage profile and ease of charging all need to be considered.

The petrol FIAT 600 is for those who want the most accessible entry price and ownership without adjustments. It is the simplest, most straightforward and most widely accessible option.

The FIAT 600 Hybrid is for drivers who want to reduce fuel consumption without having to think about charging. It is the balanced choice and probably the easiest to recommend to a family that does a bit of everything.

The FIAT 600e is intended for those who can charge regularly. It makes sense for people with predictable routines, plenty of urban mileage, or the conditions needed to make the most of an electric car's cost per kilometre.
