Azorra completes acquisition of Embraer E-Jet portfolio
Azorra has completed its purchase of 49 Embraer E-Jet aircraft and two General Electric CF-34 engines from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd. Since the initial agreement was signed in May 2025, the lease contracts for these assets have been assigned to 12 airlines worldwide.
John Evans, Azorra’s CEO, said: “We are delighted to mark the completion of this significant portfolio acquisition from DAE, which represents another milestone in Azorra’s continued growth. Multi-asset transactions of this scale demonstrate our ability to structure and execute strategic investments that strengthen our fleet and deliver sustainable value to our airline partners.”
Strategic growth in small narrowbody aircraft
Evans added: “These aircraft and engines are proven, reliable assets that align with our strategy in the small narrowbody aircraft segment. They reinforce our position in a market we understand deeply and reflect our confidence in the sector’s long-term potential. We are also pleased to expand our strong partnership with DAE through this successful transaction.”
Following the acquisition, Azorra’s portfolio of owned, managed and committed assets exceeds 300 aircraft and engines as of May 2026.
