Daher Aircraft expands TBM support network in Brazil

Daher Aircraft has strengthened its customer support coverage for Brazilian owners and operators of the TBM aircraft family by adding two authorised service centres to its network in the country.

The appointments of UP Aviation and Aeromecânica were announced at the Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE), taking place this week at Campo de Marte Airport in São Paulo. They broaden the network’s geographical reach and provide enhanced factory-authorised maintenance capabilities across Brazil.

UP Aviation has become a Daher Aircraft authorised service centre at Pampulha Airport in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Serving customers throughout south-east Brazil and neighbouring areas, the company already carries out maintenance for many of the country’s TBM operators and will now provide its established capabilities with factory authorisation.

Aeromecânica has joined the Daher Aircraft authorised service centre network, operating from Bacacheri Airport (SBBI) in Curitiba and Antônio Amilton Beraldo Airport (SBPG) in Ponta Grossa, Paraná. Its facilities provide coverage for southern Brazil.

These additions complement the existing Daher Aircraft Network authorised service centres in Brazil: America do Sul, based at Sorocaba Airport (SDCO) in São Paulo state and serving the country’s south-east; and Voar Aviation, at Uberlândia Airport (SBUL) in Minas Gerais, serving central Brazil.

Together, the four authorised service providers form a strategically distributed network across Brazil’s south-east, south and central regions. They provide nationwide support for the country’s growing TBM fleet, which currently comprises approximately 60 aircraft.

Additional support for Brazilian-registered aircraft

To further reinforce support for Brazilian customers, the Daher Aircraft Network’s own service centre in Pompano Beach, Florida, has begun the certification process with Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). This approval will enable the facility to perform maintenance on Brazilian-registered TBM and Kodiak aircraft without requiring additional administrative procedures.

The authorisation will benefit Brazilian owners and operators travelling throughout North America or transiting through the region, including on flights to and from Europe, taking advantage of the TBM’s long range, high cruise speeds and operational efficiency.

Brazil is a central focus of Daher Aircraft’s international growth strategy. The country’s TBM fleet, currently numbering approximately 60 aircraft and continuing to grow, underlines demand for high-performance turboprop aircraft.
