Vossen wheels for the Bugatti Tourbillon
In the world of dream machines such as the new Bugatti Tourbillon, some want to take that dream even further - and that appears to be the case for Vossen, the well-known American wheel specialist.
Although the new Bugatti has yet to reach customers - only days ago, we showed a test prototype stuck in the snow - Vossen has chosen to explore how the Tourbillon could look with a fresh wheel set, using digital renderings.
It is worth stressing that these wheels were not designed from scratch for the French hypercar. They are existing designs from Vossen’s catalogue.
LC3 wheel combination
At the front are the more enclosed, aerodynamically inspired LC3-11T wheels. At the rear, Vossen has selected the LC3-01T, whose more open and aggressive appearance creates an unusual contrast on a machine of this stature.
This is purely a creative exercise, with Vossen aiming to tempt the future owners of the 250 Tourbillons that will be built - but does it look better?
Compare it with the hypercar “shod” with its official wheels:
