New Peugeot e-3008 and 3008 prices in Portugal

The first examples of the new Peugeot e-3008 (electric) and 3008 (combustion) will not arrive in Portugal until the first quarter of 2024, although order books are already open and pricing has been announced.

Following seven years and more than 1.32 million sales, the Peugeot 3008 has moved into a new era, adopting a completely different silhouette and new 100% electric powertrains.

The Panoramic i-Cockpit is the headline feature

While the Peugeot 3008 (and e-3008) makes a striking impression externally, its cabin has undergone a major transformation too, led by the new Panoramic i-Cockpit, fitted as standard on GT versions.

The system’s key feature is its 21-inch curved display, which is strongly angled towards the driver and serves as both the digital instrument cluster and central infotainment screen.

Plug-in hybrid version arrives in 2024

Naturally, the third-generation Peugeot 3008’s biggest development is “hidden” beneath its bodywork, starting with the STLA Medium platform, which makes its debut in this new model from the lion brand.

Created with particular emphasis on 100% electric models and using a 400 V architecture, the platform can also accommodate internal-combustion engines. In Portugal, the 3008 will therefore also be offered as the Hybrid 136, pairing the 136 hp 1.2 PureTech engine with a 48 V mild-hybrid system and a six-speed automatic gearbox.

During 2024, the Peugeot 3008 range will gain a plug-in hybrid variant with a combined maximum output of 195 hp and an 85 km electric range in the combined WLTP cycle.

Three electric power levels

For the first time, the Peugeot 3008 is available with 100% electric versions, split into three distinct power levels:

• Electric 210 - 1 front-mounted motor, 157 kW (213 hp) and 343 Nm, 73 kWh battery, 525 km range;
• Electric 230 Long Range - 1 front-mounted motor, 170 kW (231 hp) and 343 Nm, 98 kWh battery, 700 km range;
• Electric 320 Dual Motor AWD - 2 motors (one on each axle), 240 kW (326 hp) and 343+166 Nm, 73 kWh battery, 525 km range.

What does it cost?

Having looked at the powertrain line-up for the new Peugeot 3008 (and e-3008), it is time to consider the prices. They begin at 37 150 euros for the 3008 Hybrid and 47 150 euros for the e-3008.

• 3008 Hybrid 136 hp Allure - from 37 150 euros;
• 3008 Hybrid 136 hp GT - from 41 650 euros;
• e-3008 Electric 210 hp (157 kW) Allure - from 47 150 euros;
• e-3008 Electric 210 hp (157 kW) GT - from 52 150 euros.

However, as part of its launch-phase campaign, Peugeot is offering the new 3008 Hybrid from 34 650 euros and the new e-3008 Electric from 46 150 euros.

The 100% electric versions also qualify for the “100% Electric Peace of Mind” campaign, including an easyWallbox and four years of maintenance and warranty cover (48 months/50 000 km for private customers).
